Mangal Turkish Grill: Authentic Turkish Cuisine in Sunnyvale, CA

Tasty lamb and spicy beef kebobs are served at this Turkish restaurant in Sunnyvale. The rice and bread were also pretty good, and the staff was super friendly and very efficient. Parking lot had plenty of spots. Good place for a work lunch and it’s also big enough for group outings.

The first thing I have to mention is the incredibly unique free bread that is given to the table. It is a traditional Turkish bread that is huge and a nice way to compliment the meal. The portions are not that big by the quality and taste are great. I tried the combination plate and all of the meat options were tasty and juicy. The interior is huge with plenty of seats, and the staff are very helpful.

I had dinner tonight with friends. The food is delicious, fresh! I felt like I was in Turkey. Service is great, people in here are very friendly and kind. Next time I come to San Jose, definitely I will come back to this restaurant.

I got the mixed grill and it was honestly perfect — super tasty and cooked just right. The sides were great too. And the tea… amazing! You know it’s the real deal when they serve it in those stacked Turkish tea pots. Definitely a spot worth checking out.

A good fine dine option for Mediterranean food. Service and food presentation is good but taste is okay. Comparing to other similar options like Sultan kabab, this is more pricy. Starters were served with fresh bread while main course was also well presented. Location is good with lots of parking.

Everything was amazing! The food was so flavorful, the rice and appetizers were delicious, and the meat was super tender. The service was perfect, and our server was really attentive and kind. We always have such a great experience and that's why we continue to come back. I really recommend this place.

We wanted to try Turkish bbq and noticed this place in Sunnyvale. The indoor area was largely empty on a weekday night but there seemed to be more people sitting on the patio where you would grill your own meats. It’s a good place for a party or special occasions. We picked out the meats from the counter and they grilled them for us as we sat inside. The lahmacun was very delicious. The grilled meats were brought to us on a sizzling hot plate. They were marinated before and very flavorful. The vegetable moussaka (baked zucchini, eggplant, potatoes, and tomatoes with cheese on top) was surprisingly delicious. Our desserts Sutlac (Turkish baked rice pudding) and Künafe, which had layers of shredded kadayif (thin noodle-like pastry) freshly baked with a layer of unsalted cheese in the middle, soaked in sweet syrup and garnished with pistachios, was very tasty. Service was friendly. The price is not cheap but worthy given the quality of the meats. We like this place and will come back again.

I had Adana Kabab here it was so good after that I ordered a Turkish Coffee unbelievable test I recommend to everyone one who like coffee try it here . Appreciate the customer service they were awesome
